- Dubare Elephant Camp- Dubare Elephant Camp is one of the most cherished stops on this tour. It’s home to domesticated elephants, which were once trained for the Mysore Dussehra festival. Now, you can watch them being fed and bathed, or enjoy rides on them.
- Abbey Falls- Abbey Falls is a 70-foot waterfall tucked within a canopy of coffee and spice plantations. The fall originates from a Kaveri tributary and tumbles down over a rocky terrain. A hanging bridge and a short forest trail take you to a viewpoint, surrounded by the intoxicating aroma of coffee.
- Raja's Seat- Raja’s Seat, meaning the Seat of the Kings, is a garden that once served as the leisure spot of Kodava kings. It’s said to be their favourite spot for enjoying the sunset and scenic beauty. Lush greenery, mist-wrapped valleys, and a toy train ride for children make it a pleasant spot.
Day 2: Coorg Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day of sightseeing across Coorg.
- Talakaveri- Talakaveri, nestled in the Brahmagiri Hills, is the sacred source of the Kaveri River. It’s a small spring at an elevation of 1276 metres above sea level that flows underground and emerges as a river a short distance away. Pilgrims and travellers alike gather here to see the spring.
- Bhagamandala- Bhagamandala (also called Triveni Sangam) is a sacred confluence of three rivers at the foothills of Talakaveri. It’s believed that a holy bath here is spiritually uplifting. The nearby Bhagandeshwara Temple also makes this place a must-visit on a Bangalore Coorg Wayanad tour package.
- Madikeri Fort- Madikeri Fort has stood at the centre of Coorg's history for centuries. Although it was built with mud by Mudduraja in the 17th century, it was later rebuilt with stone by Tipu Sultan. The fort houses a palace, a church, a temple, and a museum with various artefacts and weaponry.
- Omkareshwara Temple- Omkareshwara Temple is a rare and charming blend of Islamic and Gothic architectural styles. It’s a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, built in 1820. A serene pond on the premises, filled with fish and fringed with trees, is also a worthwhile attraction.
- Mandalpatti Peak- Mandalpatti Peak is a green hilltop destination that offers sweeping panoramas of Coorg. It’s located within Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary, and it offers some of the most breathtaking highland scenery. The drive up in a jeep through dense forest is also an adventure in itself.

- Pookode Lake- Pookode Lake is a freshwater lake set amid the subtropical forests of Wayanad. Located at 770 meters above sea level, it’s the highest altitude freshwater lake in Kerala. Boating is a must-do on the calm surface of Pookode. An aquarium and a children’s park are also on the premises.
- Lakkidi View Point- Lakkidi View Point, often referred to as the Gateway of Wayanad, is known for its mesmerising bird’s eye view of Wayanad. It offers a sweeping view of the surrounding valleys and the hairpin bends leading to Wayanad. The famous chain tree nearby is also worth seeing.
Day 4: Wayanad Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day of sightseeing across Wayanad.
- Edakkal Caves- Edakkal Caves is an archaeological site known for its cave-like rock shelter formed by a boulder wedged between two other boulders. The rock engravings here are some of the earliest examples of human expression. The cave entrance is accessible by trekking up some steep steps.
- Soochipara Waterfalls- Soochipara Waterfalls (also known as Sentinel Rock Falls) is a breathtaking natural beauty amidst the lush green forests of Wayanad. It cascades down three tiers of rock to a natural pool below. And the steep hills surrounding it offer the perfect terrain for trekking and rock climbing.

- Bangalore Palace- Bangalore Palace is a grand Tudor-style structure inspired by London’s Windsor Castle. It features elaborate wooden carvings, ornate turrets and stately halls that show the refined tastes of the royal family. An audio-guided tour leads you through its interiors, sharing stories of the palace’s history.
- Cubbon Park- Cubbon Park, officially Sri Chamarajendra Park, is a 300-acre park with century-old trees, bamboo groves and shaded pathways. Its relaxed atmosphere makes it a welcome respite from the bustling city life. A perfect setting for an evening during the Bangalore Coorg Wayanad tour.
- Vidhana Soudha (Drive-past)- Vidhana Soudha is Karnataka’s seat of legislative power and one of the most striking landmarks in Bangalore. The building was constructed in 1956 in the Neo-Dravidian architectural style. And it’s particularly magnificent in the evening when bathed in golden light.
