Harangi dam site:Harangi dam is a popular picnic spot amongst tourists visiting Dubare. With a length of 846 meters and a height of 47 meters, the dam is built across a small stream in the Dubare forest. The area around is blessed with striking natural beauty. The dam in itself is remarkably beautiful and is the reservoir is fully filled with water during the monsoon period, especially during August and September.
The place is comparatively secluded and you will find few tourists moving around. So if looking for some private specie, this is perfect place.
Veerabhoomi:A tourist village, Veerabhoomi, is the only Heritage Theme Holiday Resort of Karnataka. Nisargadhama:A wildlife sanctuary, Nisargadhama, is also a popular tourist spot. Best time to visit Dubare:
Although the camp is open throughout the year, the best season to visit Dubare is from September to May. During the months from March to May, you can easily spot herds of elephants that move around in search of waters. Months of October till November are humid but pleasant to visit the camp and for other activities. December to November is also perfect to visit the elephant camp.
